~February 6th, 2014~  iCleave.™  husband&wife  Daily Marriage Prayer

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23 NIV.

Many of Marriages are suffering for the lack of self-control. Life has taken control of the basic need, and you are not able to work and move freely in the lives of our lives as Husbands and Wives due to our ability and lack of self-control. Balance, Boundaries, and Moderation are all viable attributes to self-control. Forgive us for overindulging in obligations, duties at our church, and areas in our lives that are not a priority that you orchestrated for our lives. We need you to bring us back to balance as Husband and Wife. Our love and Our vows are suffering because we do not take time to balance Forgive us for any area in our life that has taken over our thinking and thought processes and enabled us to hear the exact purpose that you designed for our Married Love. Teach us how to free up some time in our schedules and exercise self-control where we can make time and space for our duties as Husband & Wife. Nothing takes precedence over that. We know that you appreciate our service to our children, our church, and our community and most importantly our service to you. Keep us balanced, teach us how to maintain the most important priority, and that is the ability to hear how you want us to spend time in our Marriage, making it a place of peace and refuge. Teach us as Husband and Wife to maintain safe boundaries with our obligations and take into consideration when we have over-booked or over-scheduled obligations that are preventing us from hearing from you TOGETHER. Create balance in our Marriage today. Create a place of Refuge and Peace Father, and let the self-control and moderations begin with me. Thank you for the Fruits of the Spirit and thank you for allowing us to remember how important our Marriage is to the kingdom. We ask these and all blessings……..~In Jesus name we pray, Amen~
